Genuine Sheds and Studios is a small, family-owned construction company based in beautiful Ojai, California. We build custom backyard sheds and studios for clients in need of extra space- from the ground up. 

Our company aims to help people in our own community excel and thrive in their own homes creating more room for connection and creation.

We want to make it possible for individuals to work from home, spend time with their families, alleviate stress, create music and art, host loved ones, practice self-care, and so much more.

Ryan is an expert builder, highly-skilled in: framing, roofing, finished carpentry, decks, outdoor structures, home remodels, renovation, and all things electrical. He earned his electrical license through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Union.

He has been building sheds in Ventura, Santa Barbara, Ojai and Los Angeles since 2010. He has helped bring-to-life hundreds of extra storage spaces, office suites, she-sheds, man-caves, creative studios, homeschool rooms, guest rooms, craft rooms, laundry rooms, play rooms and more. 

His dedication to delivering quality craftsmanship and genuine integrity is what has built our impeccable reputation.

Ryan, his wife Valerie and their two girls call the beautiful valley of Ojai, their home. They love their community and enjoy collaborating and working with other local businesses and creators.
